I find it fascinating how our bodies usually get what they need somehow, even if we're restricting. If we don't consciously opt to make a sandwich or go back for seconds, we'll semi-subconsciously eat the equivalent in cough drops, protein bars, squash, something, because the need must be met. That was a huge ah-ha for me. I was doing a lot of eating in a kind of twilight denial state. Wouldn't it be more enjoyable to own it? To eat what I truly want to satisfaction instead of eating the same amount in Tic Tacs and sunflower seeds?

So much this! If I eat satisfying meals, grazing doesn’t even ocur to me. It’s still a work in progress for me, but it’s starting to solidfy in my mind as something that just is, like gravity and the laws of thermodynamics.
