(Even though these forums are a lifesaver to me, and I read them daily, I rarely post because I tend to get wordy and overthink what I want to write and then give up instead of actually writing it, so I figure a nice short cosmetics post might be just the thing to get me into writing more here... :D)
I started using Missha bb cream a couple of weeks ago, and I'm very happy with it! I am quite fair-skinned, so finding shades to match it isn't always the easiest task, and Missha #21 seems to work wonderfully. I mostly (but definitely not exclusively) use it for the area under my eyes and it lightens it up a bit, conceals imperfections, evens everything out, things like that. I like a matte finish (and tend to have oily parts on my face), so I use compact powder on top of it. All in all, I'm quite satisfied, I even ordered the same cream almost right away, so I wouldn't accidentally use it all up and then have to wait for it to arrive. Oh, and the price is pretty good, I get it on ebay for around 8 dollars (with free shipping to Europe).
Also, I tried the Garnier one, and it's NOTHING like this, that was a complete waste of money.
I've never tried a BB cream, although now I'm tempted re: Clinique's (as well as that tinted moisturizer, Click!). I have been wearing Clinique City Block on my face, in lieu of foundation, since my mid 20s. Used to wear SPF 25 and switched to Super City Block SPF 40 as soon as they came out with it. Love the slightly skintone evening properties and the crazy light coverage. And of course the sun protection. It doesn't moisturize, though, so I may have to look into those other options!

Evenity- I am so curious! I had never tried a BB cream until Garnier- and that was heavenly! But I have nothing to compare it to. What is the difference between this and a better one? Now you've got me wanting to shop around! :)
Ok, here's the latest on my BB cream quest. I have discovered that if you register at the Missha website (http://www.misshaus.com) the first time buyer coupon is a free full-size M Perfect Cover BB Cream in #21 Light Beige, and you only have to spend $1 or more to get it. So, I bought a $5 cleansing puff, paid $8 shipping and I'm getting it for $13 instead of $29, hopefully with samples.
This particular formula and shade is very highly rated. I'm a tiny bit worried because it has mineral oil and parabans on the ingredient list, but even people with sensitive skin are raving about it. They have a hypoallergenic version but people say the color, consistency, and coverage isn't as good. Maybe I'll check it out if this one gives me any issues.
I'll be sure to let you know what I think. I'm also tempted to get the SKIN79 sampler but I'm trying to contain myself and try one at a time. I'm hoping this is a match made in heaven and I won't want to try anything else.
I love BB creams and how they make my skin look, but I've had to try a few different brands as I break out easily (still!!! and I'm 48). The Garnier ones made me break out terribly. The L'Oreal one not as bad. The one I'm using right now is Dr. Jart and I love it. A client of mine (who also breaks out easily) was using it and raved about it. I've been using the Dr. Jart one for about 2-3 weeks now and it hasn't made me break out.
MDI Runner, in my opinion, the texture is different - the Garnier one felt like a slightly tinted moisturizer, gave me almost no coverage and did basically nothing for me (and the color was too dark, even the lighter one). Missha feels more likr "proper" foundation, but definitely lighter on the skin, maybe a bit more creamy. It can have a grayish tint, but I only notice it occasionally, and even then it settles in quickly and matches my skin.
I hope both you and Skwigg like it! (And others, if it spreads... :D)
