Hey thanks everyone for sharing those great ideas. I am going to try something this week - have kind of a plan for Monday through to Thursday as I have a pretty busy schedule these days. I will plan out one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner meal plus a snack option and shop for 4 portions of these meals and do any food prep tomorrow (Sunday). Then leave Fri, Sat, Sun for flexibility, meals out and with family and friends. And also to use up any leftover ingredients etc. I will see how this combo of structure and flexibility works for me. I usually don't like eating the same thing across multiple days but I figure it's only 4 days, then I will change it up the next week. Plus my life is pretty busy during the week so I think I will just be happy to have food planned out and ready to eat.
