This was the picture. I was flexing in good light and holding something heavy - my new kettlebell. I was posing on purpose because I love my muscles lol So after multiple apologies last night, his whole FB page is gone now. :D
I simply commented back. "Don't hate"after which he apologized multiple times. I have to say my initial reaction was about what my other women friends might think. like it would confirm for them that lifting weights would make you manly or that men don't find it attractive. but then I laughed to myself. maybe he was jealous. lol
Yes. I bet you had more muscle definition than he did and it threatened his manhood.
Also, there truly are some men who don't like the way that muscle and muscle definition looks on women and that's fine, but really, he should keep his opinion to himself.
Liza, you look awesome in my opinion. Being muscular is great & has always been my goal. I'd take that comment as a compliment even though it may not have been meant as one.
Sometimes I have found strange comments on FB. Usually they are friends 'OF' friends. I personally 'delete' anything that sounds like a negative challange or debate the other person is trying to engage me in. I even went as far as deleting that 'friend' who was really my husbands friend that I didn't really care for in the first place.
BT, you've saved it correctly. It will "come back to life" when you send it in chat, email it, etc. 🎉 Also, you know I loved the Joey reference. Best. Show. Ever.
