I've only posted here once before, but I absolutely love this place!! I have a long history of disordered eating, but completely got over binge eating with the help of Josie Spinardi. I adore her and her work.
Anyways, I am currently struggling with some strong hunger/cravings at night. All throughout the day, I feel really balanced and not very hungry at all, but post-dinner, mostly in the few hours right before bedtime, I get super hungry. For example, tonight, I had some yummy tacos for dinner with coke (a good amount), and now, at 11:30pm, I feel like I could have another big meal.
I used to really skimp on food during the day mostly because I didnt get hungry till about 2pm, but I started purposefully shifting my food to earlier in the day, and having at least 3 solid meals plus snacks if I get hungry in between.
I really dont believe this is an emotional thing. I think my body just got used to expecting food at this time and I am wondering how to deal with it. Have any of you had a similar experience? I am hoping the feeling might lessen as I try more and more food at breakfast and lunch (which is kind of a scary transition, but I am taking it day by day).
